British Airways Takes Over all Spain – London Flights of Iberia

BA has planned to hold the fort of its sister airlines within the coming few months of this year. Madrid Barajas had a pretty good number of flights running via route Spain-London which as a whole is handed over to the BA.

The Iberia and other carriers that flies through this route may be affected due to the sudden changes in the taking over of control.

The initial talk sounded as if only the Madrid Barajas will hand over its carriers in-charge to the British Airways, but the later part of description stated clearly that all of the flights that land London from the source as Spain will be affected due to this.

All the sister crafts of Iberia will be given in the hands of the BA which was later understood as said the Spanish press. Though all these confusions persist, the actual and finalized timetable of the flights have neither been released.

BA announces launch dates of world’s largest commercial jet

British Airways has announced launch dates for its first superjumbo aerial shuttle A380 services to Los Angeles. The A380 has been confirmed to launch on September 24, from Heathrow to L.A.

The airline has also confirmed its first A380 flight schedule from Heathrow to Hong Kong to launch on October 22. BA became the first UK airline to take delivery of the world’s largest commercial jet on 4th July, just a week after 787 dreamliner made its maiden arrival at Heathrow.

“These aircraft are the start of a new era for British Airways,” said CEO Keith Williams.

Airfare for the superjumbo jet for both routes starts at £621 for Los Angeles and £688 for Hong Kong. Tickets are on sale this July at great bargain rates.

Keith Williams, British Airways’ chief executive, said: “This will be a very special premiere. The A380 is a great aircraft that has been developed with huge amounts of British engineering ingenuity. London and Los Angeles are two world-leading cities, and we are proud to be the first airline to connect them with the A380.”

London-based actress Gemma Arterton said: “Working in film means that I spend a lot of time travelling around the world, often to Hollywood. It’s very exciting that the A380 will be flying to Los Angeles. I think the red carpet route will be very popular.”

By performing some simple exercises, you can improve on comfort, stiff muscles, relieve anxiety and improve circulation.
Put together are simple moves that you can perform whilst seated, to keep you calm and energized.

Walk
Make every possible step count. If you get up to go to the lavatory, try extending your walking time by heading to the washroom that’s farthest away from your seat. If travelling on a long haul flight, talk walks up and down the aisle at least once an hour.

Full-Body Stretch
Its a simple stretch that everybody performs naturally and instinctively. Stand up right reach up and lock both arms high above your head and try to touch the ceiling. If you like to avoid the audience, best move to the back of the plane. This can also be performed while seated.

Neck Roll
Relax your neck muscles, drop your head to the right as much as it naturally can. In a rotatory movement gently move your head around to the front and then to the left side. Hold the side, front, and other side positions for a few extra seconds to maximize the stretch.

Shoulder Shrug
Raise your shoulders up, then roll them forward, downward, backward and back up again. Perform all this in one fluid and gentle circular motion. It works well on stiff shoulders.

The cuddle
Seated straight with relaxed shoulders reach across and hold your left shoulder with your right hand and your right elbow with you left hand. Maintain this position for 15 seconds then do the other arm. Repeat thrice.

Ab tucks
Strengthen your back and tighten your stomach while breathing for extra back support. Exhale and pull your belly button in toward your spine, hold for couple of seconds, release while inhaling and repeat.

Seated Twist
While seated place your right leg on your left knee. Twist across with your shoulders, as to reach your right knee with your left hand. Hold for 15 seconds and alternate between left and right legs, twist as far as you naturally can. Repeat thrice.

The knee up
Reach forward clasp both hands around your right knee and lift it to your chest. Hold for 15 seconds and follow up with your left knee. Repeat thrice.

Seated calf raises & Toe lifts
Sit with a straight back, hands on your thighs and feet flat on the floor. Raise your heels off the ground, hold a few seconds and return to original position. Follow with toe lifts by raising your toes as high as possible with heel fixed on the floor. Repeat 5 times.

The revolver
Lift both your feet a few inches off the floor, with your ankle as the hinge point, rotate both feet in circles – five times clockwise and five times anti-clockwise.
